Sales Tax - Orders shipped to NY are subject to an 8.75% sales tax. (Butterfly Utopia is located in Brooklyn, NY and is required to collect sales tax for orders shipped to NY addresses.)
Non U.S. Residents - Sorry, orders may only be shipped to U.S. addresses. If you live outside of the U.S. you can still order and have it shipped to a U.S. address. We are probably going to start shipping outside of the U.S. in February 2009, check back soon or join our mailing list to be notified when we do.
Hawaii & Alaska - Residents pay actual shipping charges, we'll manually charge your card the difference. Contact us for an estimate if you desire, there is usually no extra fee for relatively small shipments.
Shipping Method - Small shipments usually ship via U.S. Priority Mail, larger shipments usually ship via UPS Ground. If you use a P.O. Box for your shipping address actual shipping charges may apply if it's a large box that would normally ship UPS Ground.
Paypal Orders - If you have a paypal account and would like to pay via paypal, be sure to click the "Pay Now" button on the final checkout page which will take you to the paypal website where you will login and complete payment. Hitting "continue" at the paypal site after ordering will take you back to this shopping cart and provide you with a confirmation number. If you don't see the funds immediately come out of your paypal account that means payment wasn't made (we can't "charge" your paypal account). Please contact us if you have problems or "Send Money" from your paypal account (2nd blue button from left at the top of your main paypal account page) to our paypal account "butterflyutopia@hotmail.com" with your order details.
Additional Order Information - Our shopping cart now has a "comments" section at the end of the checkout process that you may use to include a gift note, special delivery instructions, or custom order information. Just look for the "click here to add additional notes to your order" after you confirm your order.
Confirm Order - Be sure to "confirm order" at the bottom of the final page during checkout, this will submit your order and provide you with an order number which you should save.
Important Note - 1/5/09 - Some "Ready For Us to Build" items might take a little longer to ship than normal (they usually ship within 2 weeks) during the month of January. If you must have your order in January you might want to call us to confirm that it will get to you in time or if there are suitable substitutes.
